全長約 65mm

編み組みと織りの中間のような作りかたをしている装飾品です。
出来上がった形が魚の鰭（ひれ）の様だったので、名前になりました。
素材は「アオソ（からむし）」と呼ばれる在来の植物繊維を使っています。東南アジア全域で5000年以上前から採取され布に使われてきたイラクサ系の植物です。このピアスの素材は山形県大江町の「アオソ」を使っています。
昔は、山で炭焼きを行ない、荷下ろし際に近くにあるアオソで即興的に縄を作り炭を縛り担いだそうです。珍しい植物ではなく、生活の中で使ってきた植物です。

留め具に医療用セラミックを使っています。金属アレルギーの方もご心配なくお使いいただけると思います。
